Holiday Photography – hobbies vs work
I don’t know if many other folks in the advertising/ graphics world are like this.
When I go on holiday, I really am torn, whether or not to put the “big camera” in amongst my gear.
I really like taking snaps of whatever takes my fancy, the great danger is it becomes the “ busman’s holiday” and too much time is spent not quite holidaying.
Then when I get back, as it is not a client’s work the pics just end up lying in a folder…
Now the good news!
This is where I think that Instagram is a killer, you can have some quick fun and just leave the images on your device. Where we used to spend hours cross- processing, printing, and generally destroying an image for an interesting effect, it can now be done in a few clicks :0D
Here is a selection of holiday photography from my recent travels.
