PR photography : Cyrille Regis and the Three degrees statue at a West Midlands pub.

Funding is being raised to produce a life size statue of the famous West Bromwich Albion trio of players affectionately know as the “Three Degrees” The statue will commemorate some of  footballing history as back in the 1970s black players were rarely seen in football. These three players had great talents and were a model for all aspiring black footballers for years to come.

The miniature statue “maquette” was one of a few made to show fans of the players and team what the final item would look like. It was taken around many places and with some of the players to help raise vital funds for the production of the statue. The picture here features West Bromwich Albion former player Cyrille Regis and one of the fans of the club at a fund raising evening .
